Liverpool’s provision before this week’s derby is quite strong. The Reds are unbeaten at home this season (13 wins, 3 draws). This deserves a separate consideration for the visitors as well as city rivals, Everton.

Liverpool vs Everton Prediction
The match will be the 240th edition of the Merseyside Derby. The coaches of each team take this duel seriously, and Liverpool is no exception, even though its position is quite far from their rivals in the standings table.
Jurgen Klopp as a coach wants to play with high intensity in the duel later. But on the other hand, he also doesn’t want his team to lose focus that there are other matches that are no less important after this.
“I just want to have a very intense football game, very physical and legally aggressive but nothing more, because we also play after the derby. We must not forget, all of us. That’s all,” Klopp said in a pre-match interview.
This season, Liverpool appeared in 4 different competitions and all ended well. In fact, they have the opportunity to steal 4 titles at once this season. One Carabao Cup has been won. Now, they have successfully set foot in the FA Cup final, advanced to the Champions League semifinals, and are only 1 point behind EPL leaders Manchester City.
“I didn’t think about that, to be honest, but I know we will be better. What we did last year, what the boys did last year, was very special in a difficult situation,” added Klopp.
Meanwhile, for Everton coach Frank Lampard, this is his first experience managing a team that will compete in a derby which is 127 years old.

The former Chelsea coach admitted that he would try his best in the derby match. The capital is 2 matches in a row without defeat previously achieved.
“The first thing is to defend well, you are never safe against Liverpool. They can always give you problems, whether to force pressure or counter-attack.”, said the 43-year-old coach.
“Then… when we have the ball, give them problems. There won’t be time to have the ball [too long], we have to be brave, accept it and play.”
